Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information The Casitsu ("we", "us") collects when you visit thecasitsus.com and how we use it.

Information we collect

Contact form. If you send us a message, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you provide. We use it only to read and reply to your message, and we don't sell or share it.

Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address, the date, approximate country and browser of sign-up, and when you confirmed. We use double opt-in: you're only added to the list after clicking the confirmation link we email you. Your email is used only to send The Casitsu newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Confirmation emails are delivered through our email provider, Resend.

Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider processes standard technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Cookies

The Casitsu does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address when your browser requests them.

Our articles may link to other websites. We aren't responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

Data retention

Messages sent through the contact form are kept only as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete any personal information you've sent us. Use the contact page and we'll take care of it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
